I'm starting to ask a couple of close friends to help me locate some bankruptcy information. They know that ever since I relocated to California I've really been struggling. Originally I went here because an agency expressed an interest in signing me up as one of their new models. This business can be really brutal. It's nothing like working in a small town where there are a few photographers you know well and there are always plenty of assignments to go around because there isn't much competition. There are just way too many actors and models here and we're all competing for the same thing. Anyways I came all the way out here only to wind up dropping myself from the agency. They weren't even getting me any work. It seemed like I was mostly the one finding assignments on my own. My friends who are actors are also discouraged by how things are here and I guess we're all kind of thinking we may have to do something similar since none of our careers have taken off as well as we'd hoped. Our expenses, on the other hand, have really taken off!  I'm just glad we're not under any illusions anymore in regards to our work and financial matters.
