I just got home from a huge family gathering and I'm not in the best mood right now. I'm always sort of reluctant to go to these things. My cousins were bragging about buying some

NFL tickets

before they sold out. I'm really jealous of the fact that they were able to get them. Because of my work schedule, I had no choice but to wait until the last minute and, of course, they were sold out by then. They know I always talk about NFL stuff, so they were really rubbing it in. Oh well. At least I get to rub in the fact that I have a girlfriend. That's the one beautiful thing I have going for me right now. If I had been able to get the NFL tickets, I know my girlfriend would've really enjoyed going to the game with me. I think instead of being upset about things, I'm going to try and plan something extra special for that day. I don't even think we should watch the game on TV. I have the best plan! I think I'm going to pretend that we're going to watch it together and then I'm going to take her completely by surprise and go somewhere that we've never been before. I'll really do everything I can to make sure it's a romantic and memorable evening. That's definitely better than any game!
